Kuwait Financing and Investment Company (KFIC) posted a profit of KD 22.8 million for the third quarter period this year. The company met on Nov 11, 2007 and adopted the financial statements of the company, earning a profit of KD 3,961,955 for the 3 months ending Sept 30, 2007 and KD 22,834,659 for the 9 months ending Sept 30, 2007 with EPS valued at 11.5 fils and 65.9 fils respectively. The net profit includes unrealized profits of KD 847,310 and unrealized revenue worth KD 483,653. During the corresponding period last year the company earned a profit of KD 9,740,761 with earning per share of 28.1 fils for the three months ending Sept 30, 2006 and KD 27,833,987 with earning per share of 80.5 fils for the 9 months ending Sept 30, 2006.  Kuwait Financing and Investment Company (KFIC) is a Kuwaiti shareholding company established on March 27, 2000 and got listed at the KSE on July 28, 2003. It is engaged in consumer and commercial financing activities as well as in investment services and management of funds and portfolios. The company’s financing services include consumer housing and commercial loans and its investment services segment covers areas such as asset management, ventures, buyouts, flotation and placements.
